# [Power of Ionized Air in Helping Cannabis Industry Meet Regulatory Standards](https://blog.morrison-chs.com/en/blog/increase-efficiency-and-reliability-on-your-line)

[September 26, 2022](https://blog.morrison-chs.com/en/blog/increase-efficiency-and-reliability-on-your-line)

*In this blog series, our experts discuss how automation can improve cannabis packaging processes as demand continues to grow in this emerging market.*

Over the years, through trial and error, cannabis experts have aimed to master their crafts. Whether it be growing, extracting, or infusing, scientists have spent countless hours making sure they are bringing the best and safest products to the market.

This is the kind of mindset companies should bring to your packaging process. We understand the pharmaceutical nature of the cannabis industry holds you to many restrictions and regulations, and these are paramount in your packaging process.

With all that being said, keeping cleanliness and safety in mind during the packaging process is key, and automating this can help bring better productivity to your line. As the cannabis industry navigates automation, it's key to find partners that support the proper packaging procedures to help each container uphold legal standards.

Cleaning the container prior to filling is your first line of defense. Look to Morrison's Ionized Air Rinser to help.

[The Ionized Air Rinser](https://info.morrison-chs.com/rinsers) utilizes a stream of ionized air to clean your container by reducing static and therefore helping to remove unwanted particles. By inverting your container with our [timing](https://morrison-chs.com/timing-screws)[screw](https://morrison-chs.com/timing-screws) twist technology, your container is positively controlled and presented at the rinser nozzle precisely and automatically.

After the blast of ionized air, the twist is used again to revert your containers right side up and present them back to your conveyor to continue their journey on your production line.

Automation on your line can help take mundane tasks out of the way so your team can focus on the plant itself. By utilizing your workforce where they are better needed, you can focus on the quality of your products while we take the hassle out of your container handling.

This [Air Rinser](https://info.morrison-chs.com/rinsers)can help your product remain uncontaminated, eliminating errors and discrepancies. Therefore saving money, time, and resources on your line.
