This year at Pack Expo we unveiled new, innovative solutions designed with our clients’ needs in mind. We wish to thank everyone who took the time to meet with our experts during Pack Expo. It was so great to see everyone safely, in-person to discuss their challenges that we can turn into opportunities.
This sentiment was best captured by our Sales Director Dustin Lee when he said, "Everyone has busy lives and schedules and not everyone has a chance to research websites to see what is new and exciting in the industry. Many of us spend the majority of our days in front of a screen which was only exacerbated by COVID. At the end of the day, the last thing we want to do is spend more time online so being able to network face-to-face while physically being present to see new technology allows for new ideas and creates opportunities for everyone to expand their business. End users learn how to improve efficiencies and increase productivity and OEMs learn of new ways they can better serve their customers. It’s a win-win all around."
If you were unable to attend Pack Expo this year or didn’t make your way over, the focus of our booth centered on innovation. We showcased 7 examples of our products in our newly designed and debuted booth. Displayed below our spinning screw signage, a glowing focal point at the show, we exhibited our Smart Combining and Smart Dividing Machines. In addition to those two machines, we dedicated space to our Pick and Place, Alternate Inverter, and a Smart Changeover machine that ran successfully with the assistance of our Auto Adjust Rails® as well as displayed our Quick Change Parts on an interactive wall to showcase the ease in which they can be used.
Here is a summary of each system.
Morrison Pick & Place, Alternate Inverter
This unique, looped system has two applications that work with the orientation of containers. The pick and place operation follows the linear speed of the screw and picks the containers out of the screw to the correct orientation pattern needed. The alternate inverter uses continuous motion and a flipper to invert every other container.

Morrison Smart Changeover
This system can move a wide variety of containers in all shapes and sizes due to Quick Change Parts as well as the Auto Adjust Rails®. By utilizing these two simple solutions, you can improve downtime, increase production, save space and run more efficiently.
It shows how Morrison can engineer products that make for quick and easy changeover on your production line. This unique system also uses A.I. Operator Assistance to assist the operator in setup.

Morrison Smart Divider-Combiner
This system combines containers on your production line from two lanes to one. The loop then divides containers into two lanes again, based on the desired pattern. Running at over 1000 containers per minute, this high-speed system increases productivity and ROI on any production line.
