Morrison Container Handling Solutions has taken a pro-active approach to keeping our team safe during COVID-19. Engaging in Zone Defense is one way we've worked to stay healthy while producing necessary equipment to help our communities in virus fight mode.
Our Zone Defense program promotes working together while apart. It allows us to keep our distance from one another, enabling us to make smart choices about moving around the facility while continuing to work together. Zone Defense separates our facility into designated colored zones, denoted by different matching T-shirts provided to team members as a visual representation. Simply look around, and you’ll see which zone you’re engaging with, just like on the court.
Along with Zone Defense our team has adopted several other safety practices into our everyday life while we embrace the new normal around Morrison. Some of these practices include:

Wearing provided N95 masks along with practicing social distancing

Taking all temperatures before entry daily

Installing custom designed plastic sneeze guards around each desk

Utilizing one-way staircases`

Working from home where possible
This diligence has paid off to date as these combined actions have allowed Morrison to operate at full capacity to produce needed products to fight this virus. Additionally, we’ve waived all production expediting fees on products used to fight COVID-19 and are doing our best to work as fast as possible to get the products the community needs on the shelves faster. For example, Morrison has developed a COVID-19 test kit line and also has worked on a variety of COVID-19-fighting personal health product lines such as hand sanitizer.
